BGPD creates new community outreach program [Video]

The Bowling Green Police Department recently created a new unit geared toward engaging with the community in a positive way.

Born in Bowling Green and raised on a hippie commune called the Frog Farm in Allen County, Jennifer Robinson grew up knowing what it was like having very little in life. With that empathy, compassion, and a skill for extreme couponing, she provides items for her neighbors in need.

An accident reconstruction was completed at the scene.

Nearly a month and a half ago 15-year-old Matthew Arms was shot, leaving him with life-altering injuries. Following the shooting, and her son undergoing multiple surgeries, Bunch and her family started a petition, advocating for harsher penalties for gun laws, and seeking justice for her son.

Haley celebrated 50 years of service to the store on May 11, and Watkins will officially celebrate 50 years on September 6.
