BEVERLY, OH (WTAP) -The Muskingum Valley Beverly Waterford Chamber of Commerce held its December Luncheon at the township building with many community members in attendance.
Sam Skinner, the president of the chamber, said usually the luncheons come together quite easily for each one.
“This is we start on this during the summer of getting people set up to do the meal,” Skinner said. “You do it so many years it kind of comes together on its own.”
The Beverly Lions Club helped with providing the food for the event.
John Sherve, a member of the Lions club, says it’s a group effort for the Beverly Waterford community.
“It’s a little bit, but we do work hard and we work together,” Sherve said. “We might hate each other on the football field, but when the game is over, we’re all friends again. It’s a great community. we work together very well …
