Bentley’s Lead Designer Wants Future Cars to Be ‘Like a Butler’ [Video]

The next generation of vehicle design is here. The digitization of these vehicles allows for a level of customization that will give automakers the opportunity to truly tailor their buyers’ experiences in ways that were only dreams a decade ago.

Robin Page, Bentley’s director of design, told Newsweek that while traditional methods of exterior and interior design have always led the way, technology-focused user experience (UX) is rising to be just as important.

‘I think UX is getting more and more important, as well connectivity and just the whole experience of people connecting their phones and their lives into the car,” Page said during an interview at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

Bentley vehicles are undergoing major technology upgrades as generational changes come to market. A new infotainment system operates allowing for modern functionality and elegant graphics.
