OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The owners of two Benson businesses have taken expensive measures to protect their stores.
The shopping experience for one customer at Super Groovy’s was shattered by vandals.
Store owner Ron Suverkrubbe called it payback from underaged shoppers turned away from his store, Super Groovy’s Psychedelic Bodega Smoke Shop.
“They didn’t like that and they drove by about an hour later and they shot out our windows with a BB gun,” Ron said.
The store shares a door with The Supergroovy’s Bodega. Their glass was also shot out.
‘I think if you do everything perfect in your business, it’s hard enough to survive, but then you have to deal with criminals, hoodlums, and vandalism, which makes it a lot harder,” said Andrew Boehm, the owner of Supergroovy’s Bodega.
