Beloved Kernersville restaurant set to reopen months after a fire destroyed it [Video]

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A Kernersville staple will soon return. A fire destroyed Fitz on Main in Kernersville last summer. The beloved restaurant is reopening next week.

WFMY News 2’s Nixon Norman earned how support powered their resilience.

Owner David Fitzpatrick opened the doors of Fitz on Main over 15 years ago, building a family out of the regulars who go there.

He said Fitz on Main will soon be better than ever, bringing in a lot of ‘new’ to the restaurant, while still holding on to what Fitz once was before the fire.
