Many incoming high school seniors in the class of 2025 have already decided where they will continue their athletic careers in college. That includes Beekmantown High School’s Steven Bronson, who announced his commitment to Manhattan College’s Division I baseball program in July 2024.“I’m really excited and pumped for the season coming up, and to be able to continue playing baseball,” Bronson said.Bronson started playing baseball at a young age, participating in travel and recreational programs. His work ethic impressed his head coach, Dave Maney, who promoted him to a starting role on the varsity team by his eighth-grade year.“We don’t bring kids up unless they are going to be impact players,” Maney said. “He was a starter for us right out of the gate, whether it was playing first or working his way into pitching on the mound.”Bronson continued his hard work on the high school diamond, competing with several …
