In a press release from the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce they say that President and CEO, Steve Ahlenius, will be resigning from his position due to a “significant health issue that necessitates his full attention”.
The resignation will be effective September 30.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for their unwavering support, guidance, and leadership during my tenure. It has been a privilege to work alongside such dedicated and passionate individuals who consistently strive to advance the interests of our community and its businesses,” said Ahlenius.
The GBCOC Board of Directors has named Mary Poole as Interim President/CEO, who will assume responsibilities October 1 according to the press release
