MARIETTA, OH (WTAP) – Building Bridges To Careers (BB2C) hosted their Mental Health Discover Day at Washington State Community College with 7 schools in total having students participate.
Students at the event got to learn about the mental health field by listening to experts and professionals about their experiences and jobs.
Kristi Leonard-Webber, the community and career connected learning coordinator at BB2C, said it gave students a look into the professional’s line of work.
“It’s an opportunity for students across Washington County and even some from Monroe County to explore what a career might look like in the mental health field,” Webber said.
The event was sponsored by the Washington County Behavioral Health Board as BB2C carry different sponsors for their Discover Days.
