Bayou Bend Health System is proud to announce the expansion of its services with the opening of a new Bariatric Center in Franklin, Louisiana. The Bayou Bend Bariatric Center will offer a comprehensive range of weight loss solutions, including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, lap band adjustments, weight loss injections, natural hormone therapy, and thoracic procedures.
The center will be led by Dr. Johnny Perez, a renowned general and bariatric surgeon with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Perez has completed extensive education and training at prestigious institutions such as the University of California Santa Barbara, the University of California School of Medicine, MD Anderson Cancer Center – UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and the University of Texas Houston Medical School.
