On Thursday, Mayor Karen Bass and other local officials shared their plan for dealing with the massive influx of traffic expected in the city on Friday and over the weekend.
During the press conference, Mayor Bass said that L.A. City Fire will be pre-deploying in strategic locations as a precaution, and the city’s emergency operations center will be activated.
With traffic as a top concern, the mayor stressed the value of more people considering mass transit, especially those going to Dodgers Stadium.
KNX News’ Craig Fiegener reports that there will be double the typical Dodgers shuttle express buses in rotation, 20 going back and forth, bringing people from the stadium to Union Station or South Bay. And hang on to your ticket, win or lose, because the shuttle bus is free with that in hand.
