Avista readies for power outages as strong winds and rain hit the region [Video]

SPOKANE, Wash. – Avista is preparing for power outages as strong winds and rain impact the Spokane and north Idaho area.

Avista says they will continue to monitor the weather patterns and the National Weather Service as the system blows through.

Residents are encouraged to report any outage through Avista on their mobile app, by calling 800-227-9187, or by visiting their website here.
