ASUS ExpertBook P5 debuts in SA from R20k [Video]

• ASUS South Africa has announced the local launch of its latest AI PC – the ExpertBook P5.

Like many PC and laptop manufacturers this year, ASUS has been showcasing new hardware built with on-device generative AI in mind. Earlier in the year we saw several options rolled out for Copilot+ and now the latest AI PC to be made available locally is the ExpertBook P5.

ASUS is calling the P5 (P5405) its first AI PC designed for work. It also features Intel Core Ultra processors in terms of the two different models that local consumers can spec out.

Sticking with the AI-focused capabilities, the Intel silicon yields up to 48 NPU TOPS, which is said to deliver an up to three times AI performance boost compared to the previous generation. of ExpertBook.
