Asian American night market takes over The Round in Beaverton this weekend [Video]

An Asian American night market kicks off at The Round in Beaverton this weekend, and thousands are expected to attend.

The event, called Legendary Makers Market, attracted over 13,000 attendees at its debut in Portland last November, said lead organizer Tom Sollitt, who expects an even higher turnout this weekend. The Friday-Sunday market will feature about 155 vendors offering food, baked goods, cultural art, jewelry, skincare, ceramics and more, along with indoor activities and performances at the adjacent Patricia Reser Center for the Arts.

The market is divided into four physical spaces named after different elements. The “Earth” section, which will host the hot foods, will be in the Watson Avenue parking lot. The other three sections will snake along and around Southwest Crescent Avenue and will host a variety of arts and crafts.
