This video highlights the key messages emerging from the Regional Policy Dialogue and the Launch of the ‘Recommendation on Education for Peace, Human Rights and Sustainable Development’ in the Asia-Pacific region, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 5-7 June 2024 co-organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU), in collaboration with Sophia University, Japan and Centres of Asia-Pacific Excellence (CAPEs), New Zealand.

The video shows how education stakeholders intend to adapt the Asia-Pacific Road Map to implement the Recommendation in their specific contexts by revisiting policies, curriculum, pedagogies and assessment that empower learners to become agents of change by identifying and proactively resolving issues in their communities and beyond.
