Texas State will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21st as San Marcos is under a winter storm warning until Jan. 21st at 6:00 p.m. and will be under cold weather advisory until Jan. 22nd at noon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Texas State Emergency Management sent out an email today around 3 p.m. to the Texas State community announcing that all in-person and online classes are cancelled for Tuesday and could extend to Wednesday morning.
“Although the current plan is to resume normal operations by 8:00 A.M. Wednesday morning, we will continue to closely monitor the forecast for the possibility of a delayed start on Wednesday and will communicate any updates,” said Texas State Emergency Management via email.
The NWS predicts rain showers and snow before midnight tomorrow.
