Armed robbery reported at UB North apartments [Video]

Amherst, N.Y. (WBEN) – University at Buffalo police are looking for three suspects in a reported armed robbery that happened early Thursday morning near the university’s Creekside Village Apartments.

Police say two UB students were approached by three men with, what appeared to be, handguns. One of the students was punched in the head and had their phone and wallet stolen. The other student’s jacket was taken.

The suspects were said to be three Black males, one wearing a black Nike sweatsuit and burgundy shoes, a second wearing a black Nike sweatsuit and black shoes, and the third wearing a grey sweatsuit and black shoes.

All three were wearing ski masks.

UB Police say they have increased patrols in the area.
