Arizona TikTok creators worry about income with potential ban looming [Video]

The U.S. Supreme Court is set to decide whether to uphold a law that could ban TikTok if its Chinese parent company ByteDance doesn’t sell before Jan. 19th.

A possible ban would impact millions of users in the U.S., including in Arizona.

Linzy Taylor, a Valley resident known as theLinzyTaylor on TikTok, sells stickers and crochet animals. Taylor said the social media channel has helped her generate income by selling stickers drawn by her son with autism.

“We got so many orders, and it was so beautiful, and it kept us afloat, and it kept us home, and it kept us safe in our bubble during 2020, 2021,” Taylor said. “Then I started to monetize my content, and that was a whole other form of income, another income stream.”

Taylor said the income from TikTok helps her support her family of seven.
