WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – Applications are open for Discover Monroe-West Monroe’s Tourism Event and Marketing Grant, which aims to support regional tourism.
The grant is open to any approved 501 (c) organization or non-profit that wishes to use the funds for their events or marketing for more overnight stays in Ouachita Parish.
“Priority will be given to establishing new distinctive, creative projects and events creating a minimum of 50 room nights that support the goals and mission of Discover Monroe-West Monroe,” reads a press release from DMWM.
The grant is meant to be a reimbursement rather than covering the entire cost of a project.
