Appleton Veteran receives life-changing bath renovation on Veterans Day [Video]

SHAWANO, Wis. (WFRV) – Appleton resident and veteran Ann Holcomb has been named the recipient of Tundraland’s “Baths for the Brave”, a program that gives free bath or shower installations to veterans in need.

In a press release emailed from Tundraland, the “Baths for the Brave” initiative aims to improve the lives of veterans like Ann, providing them with updated and accessible bath spaces to promote independence in their homes.

The release states that Ann, who served 21 years in the U.S. Army as a fuel specialist, received a brand-new, accessible walk-in shower that is specifically designed to enhance her comfort and independence.
