Apple has released a new holiday-themed advertisement promoting the new AirPods Pro 2 and its accessible features, detailing a father with moderate hearing loss watching his daughter grow up.
Directed by Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Henry-Alex Rubin, the ad titled “Heartstrings” was released ahead of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3). According to a statement released by Apple, this campaign reflects on the brand’s “longstanding mission to integrate assistive features into everyday devices.”
“The FDA De Novo clearance of the Hearing Aid feature for AirPods Pros 2 opens new possibilities for the more than one billion people worldwide with mild-to-moderate hearing loss,” the statement added.
