Apple has released a video promoting Final Cut Pro 10.8. This is interesting because Apple doesn’t tend to do a lot of publicity or marketing for Final Cut Pro.
Based on the video it looks like they are trying to attract entry-level users and those who need to turn material around quickly.
At least, in my opinion, Final Cut Pro due for a major upgrade as Final Cut X was released way back in April 2011! Sure there have been updates over the years, but the NLE is now arguably lagging behind a lot of the competition when it comes to certain features.
It is still a very good option for turning around material quickly as its speed is hard to beat when using the latest Macs.
