Another sign Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to leave presidential race [Video]

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — There’s increasing evidence that Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is planning to drop out of the presidential race.

His campaign successfully filed paperwork on Thursday to withdraw his name and his running mate’s name, Nicole Shanahan, from the Arizona ballot.

RFK Jr. is set to “address the nation” at 11 a.m. Friday at an unknown location, and speculation is building that he’ll officially end his presidential campaign.

Kennedy’s event will be streamed on his X account and other social media channels.

CNN reported earlier this week his people were in talks with the former president Donald Trump’s campaign to endorse him.

Trump will host a rally on Friday with Turning Point Action at the Desert Diamond Arena near Westgate at 91st and Glendale avenues.

A source told CNN that Kennedy would be there.

Shanahan said on a podcast on Tuesday that they were considering joining forces with the Trump campaign.
