ROSHOLT, Wis. (WSAW) – On Saturday, the Rosholt Blizzard Busters Snowmobile Club hosted an annual fisheree.
One organizer says their mission is to give back to communities as much as they can. They raise money for their club while bringing people together.
“What we’re trying to do here is build our overhead for the year to cover our fuel and all that for our snowmobile club,” Nick Larson, president of the Rosholt Blizzard Busters Snowmobile Club, said.
That tradition helps bring in new people to the event, while also welcoming back others.
“We have to keep the tradition going. There are a lot of kids here. It’s just fun to see all the kids. They’re growing up on ice,” Pat Kulas, who has been supporting the event for over 30 years, said.
The event had support from the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Club.
