The actress confirmed she’s returning to the role of Mia Thermopolis.

Following confirmation that a ‘Princess Diaries 3’ movie was in the works, Anne Hathaway confirmed she will reprise her role as Mia Thermopolis in the latest installment.
Hathaway posted a video on social media with the movie announcement and clips of her younger self and Julie Andrews in the original film and sequel saying the iconic ‘Princess Diaries’ line, “Shut up!”
“Miracles happen,” Hathaway wrote in the caption. “Back to Genovia with @adeleblim @disney @somewherepictures. The fairy tale continues.”
