An update on construction projects in Casper [Video]

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – “The intersection of CY and Wyoming Blvd is pretty much complete. We’ve got some striping to do, the lane striping, that sort of thing,” said Jeff Goetz, Senior Public Relations Specialist with Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).

The construction has been going on all summer. Shelley Mahoney, who drives through the intersection and construction every day, says that it has been confusing for some drivers due to signage placement.

“I think the signage is a lot of problems, along with the cones.”

When asked if she believes the long construction will be worth it despite these mishaps, she says, “We hope. You know, we do. We don’t know, it’s been a long time.”
