Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman had the worst game of his career in Saturday night’s 23-13 loss to Notre Dame.
Monday afternoon wasn’t much better for Weigman as he got to answer seemingly a question for every one of his 18 incompletions. It wouldn’t have been shocking had Weigman opted to pass on the press conference, but that’s not who he is.
“I mean, I don’t back down from anything,” Weigman said. “I’ll face it head on. I’ll be the first one to tell you I didn’t play the way I’m supposed to play. And point blank, period, I got to be better.”
That’s an understatement.
