Aloha United Way hosts Nonprofit Resource Fair | Local [Video]

KANEOHE, HI (Island News) – Hundreds attended the Aloha United Way (AUW) Nonprofit Resource Fair this weekend.

The event was held at the Windward Mall center court.

Organizations such as Catholic Charities and the Hawaiian Humane Society shared their programs available for veterans, families, kupuna, and even furry animals.

“We’re here with over 25 different Aloha United Way partner agencies sharing information and resources with all of our community to help make us stronger and more resilient,” said AUW’s Vice President of Resource Development, Emmaly Calibraro.

In addition to informational brochures, free lanyards, stickers, and children’s books, there were activities for the keiki. AUW hosted a paper-making lei activity, and Sounding Joy Music Therapy brought instruments used in their therapy programs.

The fair is AUW’s first community fair of 2025, and it promotes the nearly 260 partner agencies that undergo an annual vetting process for thousands of AUW supporters to designate their donations.
