SAN FRANCISCO — All lanes of the eastbound San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge east of the First Street onramp have reopened, the California Highway Patrol said Sunday afternoon.
“The individual has been safely detained and is being taken to a local hospital for evaluation,” the CHP said on social media.
The two left-hand lanes had been blocked around 9:41 a.m. to accommodate an emergency response, according to the CHP.
The affected lanes have reopened, the CHP said.

The San Francisco Police Department and the San Francisco Fire Department assisted during the incident.
