Aldi Ireland was was awarded Best Customer Experience in the Large Instore Retailer Category at the 2024 Customer Experience Awards.
The supermarket chain was recognised ahead of nominees In the Market, Specsavers, Brennans Pharmacy, Braeburn Coffer, Café & Drive Thru, and Cassidy Travel.
It was the second time the Customer Experience Awards have been held, and the second time Aldi has won for Best Customer Experience.
“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do at ALDI as we continuously work hard to improve our customers’ shopping experience,” Aldi Ireland said.
The company added that the award highlights all the work being done to drive customer satisfaction across its 162 stores nationwide, with initiatives such as: investing in self-service checkouts and Project Fresh store upgrades; the successful roll out of the Deposit Return Scheme; and extended shopping hours including autism-friendly hours.
