Age-Friendly Sullivan Hosts Monthly Meeting Focused on In-Home Care for Maines Older Residents | News [Video]

Sullivan – Once a month, Age-Friendly Sullivan invites guest speakers to help Maine’s older residents navigate the challenges of aging. January’s meeting centered around the topic of in-home care, providing valuable information for those seeking support services.

“Maine is the oldest state in the nation, and we’re working to ensure that everyone stays safe in their homes and engaged in their communities,” said Candy Eaton, Age-Friendly Sullivan Coordinator.

The meeting featured a panel of representatives from local agencies that offer a variety of support services. According to Eaton, there has been an increase in requests for information and referrals, as more people are seeking assistance.

“We are receiving many requests for information and referrals. People are looking for support services,” she added.
