By embracing its heritage, Clan Campbell aims to tap into new markets with a playful and cheeky ad campaign. In the two commercials, the brand cleverly showcases its signature Scottish humor, poking fun at familiar clichés such as the constant rain and the iconic sounds of Highland cows.
While the stereotypes are evident, the dry, deadpan voiceover injects a layer of sarcasm that adds a unique twist. The ads are shot in black and white, enhancing the overall vintage vibe and giving them a textured, retro feel that resonates with both tradition and modern appeal.
Bafta award-winning Australian director Stefan Hunt was behind the lens and photographer Julien Mignot worked on the visuals.
