HARRISBURG, Pa. — A local brewery is launching a new beer to raise money for North Carolina’s recovery efforts following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
Appalachian Brewing Company‘s launch of Higher Calling Hazy IPA stems from a call to action from DSSOLVR Brewing in Asheville, NC.
“DSSOLVR, turning from a brewery to a relief hub, initiated a project where they share a base recipe, label design, and access to discounted brewing supplies,” ABC said in a press release. “Breweries nationwide, including ABC, are brewing their versions of Higher Calling, with 100% of net profits going to the NC Craft Brewers Foundation for disaster relief.”
