A sneak preview of new Lawrence University student apartments in Downtown Appleton [Video]

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Lawrence University’s brand new, state-of-the-art student apartment complex officially opened and provided a tour of the area on Thursday.

The Fox Commons development, which is located in the heart of downtown Appleton, will hold numerous apartment styles for students looking to live in modern living and learning communities.

The details of the Fox Commons complex are as follows, according to the Lawrence University housing website:

The kitchens will either have an island or dining table and chairs, while the living rooms are stocked with a couch, armchair, end table and coffee table. Each bedroom comes furnished with an XL twin bed, desk chair and a dresser.

“To breathe new life into what used to be the Avenue Mall, creating Fox Commons, it’s just incredible for the city of Appleton,” Mayor Jake Woodford said. …
