RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Beautiful ingredients make beautiful products, that is the mantra over at Soul Garden Bath & Body. Located at The Basement in Downtown Reno, Soul Garden Bath & Body is a little shop that sells soaps, lotions and other bath product essentials. Owner Melina Sisneroz, moved to her location at The Basement last year, and has since offered her selection of vegan, palm free and organic body products.
Before Melina was a business owner, she was a daughter trying to find topical pain relief solutions for her mother, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. That was when Melina discovered soap making and the benefits of medicine being absorbed by skin. After realizing she might’ve been a bit over her head in the beginning, Melina was determined to master soap making and as a result, fell in love with the process.
