Video: PLP Announce Pastor Leroy Bean [Video]

[Updated] The Progressive Labour Party is holding a press conference this afternoon [Jan 23] to announce Pastor Leroy Bean as the candidate for Constituency #5 Hamilton East. We will have additional coverage later on and in the meantime the live video is below.

The PLP has won the seat with over 72% of the vote since the one seat system started in 2003, with all five of those elections won by the PLP’s Derrick Burgess. As Mr Burgess is not be running for re-election, for the first time in over 20 years this area will have a new MP. The FDM’s Desmond Crockwell has confirmed that he will be running in this area and the OBA website lists Lateef Trott as the candidate for the area.
