CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A man who has been evading police since July 2024 was arrested last week by the US Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies, United States Attorney Will Thompson announced during a press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Tiwan Robert Bailey, also known as “Quick,” 48, of Charleston, was arrested in Lexington, officials said.
He was arrested on federal charges related to the sex trafficking of multiple victims, including a minor victim.
United States Attorney Will Thompson said there are four victims in this case.
On Tuesday morning, Bailey waived proceedings in Lexington, Kentucky.
Thompson said Bailey should be arraigned on four counts of sex trafficking, one count of obstruction, and one count of conspiracy by the end of the week or beginning of next week in Charleston.
Bailey was indicted on July 23, 2024 and an arrest warrant was issued on July 30, 2024.
