OROVILLE, Calif. – Oroville residents could soon have an easier way to report non-emergency issues to the city, thanks to a proposed new mobile app. The Oroville City Council is exploring the possibility of launching a system designed to streamline communication between residents and city officials.

Council Member Shawn Webber, who helped introduce the idea, describes the system as a “push-pull notification” service. Through the app, residents can submit their reports and receive updates on the status of their concerns.
