The auto industry must accelerate its efforts to significantly cut emissions before 2070 to ensure these targets are met. Achieving this will require a swift transition to zero-emission vehicles, with EVs offering the most viable and effective solution for reducing emissions, said Sailesh Chandra, President, SIAM, on Thursday at the 9th edition of ETAuto EV Conclave.
