MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WBAY) – Marcus Theatres is paying tribute to the late Milwaukee Brewers icon Bob Uecker by bringing the movie “Major League” back to theaters.
Uecker had a scene-stealing role as Cleveland Indians’ fictional announcer Harry Doyle in the 1989 comedy.
Admission to “Major League is $5.40, representing Uecker’s 54 years in the Brewers announcer’s booth. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Milwaukee Brewers Foundation, which supports nonprofit programs and community events, particularly those serving low-income families.
“Major League” will play at 17 theaters from January 24 to January 30. In our area they include:

- Hollywood
- Oshkosh
- Sheboygan
- Valley Grand
