PennDOT lifts all speed-limit and vehicle restrictions on Pennsylvania roadways [Video]

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced it has lifted all vehicle and speed-limit restrictions on Central Pennsylvania roadways in the aftermath of Sunday’s snow event.

There are no restrictions statewide, PennDOT said in a press release.

Drivers should still be cautious; PennDOT said it will continue to treat roadways in the area until all the roads are clear, but some secondary roads may still be slippery.

The area was blanketed by 3-6 inches of snow in a storm that began Sunday afternoon and stretched into Sunday evening. 

Now that the snowfall is finished, FOX43 has issued a Weather Impact Alert through Thursday morning due to the arctic temperatures in the forecast.
