Local tribe still seeking answers for missing and murdered Indigenous persons in Siouxland [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Earlier this week, an arrest was made in the murder of Terri McCauley, who was shot to death more than 40 years ago in Sioux City.

That arrest shines a light on the number of Missing and Murdered Indigenous men, women and children and their families who still don’t have answers.

Friday, the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and the Great Plains Action Society spoke on the continued efforts of bringing answers to families who need them. These crimes impact entire tribes and communities beyond them.

“We certainly are here to continue to advocate and support all of the families that have been affected by this crisis, and it’s all about raising awareness.
