HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The United States is just a few days away from seeing social media app TikTok get banned after the Supreme Court upheld recent legislation. “We got so much back and forth with people saying that somebody is going to save the app,” said TikTok Influencer Jackson Dean, who’s a Madison, AL native, “Then we got the opposite on the other side, which is like, it’s getting banned.”
Dean says he wants more clarity on the ban. He also wants officials to consider who this will actually affect. He said, “I know that national security is obviously important. I’m never going to be like, it’s not, but there’s better ways to go about this, I think.”
