REVOLUT have launched a major new in-app phone call feature aimed at helping customers protect themselves amid the “major hazard” of scam calls.
The mobile banking app, which boasts more than three million customers in Ireland, introduced the new feature in an effort to combat the “major hazard” of scam calls.
The features are rolling out from today for the European licence bank’s personal customers, who will be able to avail of the new smart feature to avoid falling victim to impersonation scams.
The new security measure will allow easier communication between customer service and customers.
Impersonation scams are when a person pretends to be a bank, authority, or trusted person in an attempt to get another person to send them money or share sensitive details.
