Arsenal legend Sol Campbell has reignited one of football’s most notorious rivalries in a new advert for the Google Pixel phone.
Created by the Fuse agency, the ad sees Campbell lean into his infamous 2001 transfer from Tottenham to Arsenal, a move that stunned the football world at the time.
The switch paid off for the former defender, who went on to win two Premier League titles and two FA Cups during his time with the Gunners.
In the clip, Campbell begins by wearing a white jumper, addressing viewers with a knowing smirk: “It’s that time of the year again, the time of year when people start to wonder if the grass might be greener.”
He then pulls off the white jumper to reveal a red sweater underneath—a not-so-subtle nod to his career-defining move.
