WASHINGTON — With the Presidential Inauguration of Donald Trump just around the corner on Monday, excitement is building as the nation gets ready for this historic event.

To keep everyone safe during the festivities on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol, the Capitol Police Board has put together a list of items that won’t be allowed on Capitol Grounds. If you’re planning to attend, here’s what you need to know to make your experience smooth and hassle-free.

Prohibited Items:

Aerosol and Non-Aerosol Sprays
Alcohol
All Bags, Backpacks, Roller Bags, Suitcases (over size restrictions of 12″x12″x5″)
Ammunition
Animals (other than service animals)
Balloons
Balls
Beverages (including bottled and boxed liquids)

Body Armor
Camera Cases
Camping and Climbing Equipment (tents, ropes, grappling hooks)
