CATS debuts bus wrap focused on cultural inclusion [Video]

Friday morning, Charlotte transit leaders unveiled the first cultural inclusion bus wrap. 

It marks the launch of a cultural showcase campaign from CATS. The bus wrap features a collaboration with Charlotte-area artist Javon Jeter, celebrating the essence of CATS’ mission to move people forward.

“Javon’s artwork captures the diversity and cultural heritage of the community we serve,” CATS interim CEO Brent Cagle said. “At CATS, we are always striving to create more equitable experiences for both our employees and our riders, and this special bus wrap is reflective of our commitment to do so. This initiative also aligns with the broader strides we’ve made this year in strengthening our transit services, ensuring that our systems are accessible, inclusive and responsive to the needs of the entire community.”
