The Salvation Army is raising money for the California wildfire victims [Video]

LOS ANGELES — As raging wildfires devour communities in Southern California, at least 11 people have been killed, and more are unaccounted for, as of Friday evening.

Thousands upon thousands of acres have been scorched, leaving countless residents homeless and in dire need of basic resources.

The Salvation Army, an international charitable organization, is offering shelter, meals and emotional support to those who have been displaced. To provide recovery assistance, the organization is deploying mobile canteens equipped with food, water and emergency supplies that are issued by trained staff and volunteers.
