Portion of 56th Street near Holmes Lake to close for LES utility work [Video]

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Southbound 56th Street between Normal Boulevard and Van Dorn Street will close beginning Saturday, Jan. 11, for Lincoln Electric System utility work. This work is scheduled to be completed by Jan. 22.

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities recommends drivers detour to Normal Boulevard to 48th Street to Van Dorn Street.

Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure.
