Hours after the last plush pal hits the ice, a hard-working group of volunteers returns at the Giant Center to get those stuffed animals to their new homes.
HERSHEY, Pa. — If you think the teamwork by the Hershey Bears on Teddy Bear Toss night is impressive, just wait until you see the Hershey squad behind the scenes.
“It’s even more like a family during the Teddy Bear Toss evening, as well as distribution day,” claimed Kathleen McGraw, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Corporate Communications and Community Relations Director. “Behind us, we have Hershey volunteers and for many of them, this is their third, fourth, and fifth year helping us.”
From the moment the first bear hits the ice, the collecting and the counting begins.
