President Biden’s Granddaughter Naomi Biden Welcomes First Baby [Video]

Naomi Biden is officially a mom.

President Joe Biden announced on Wednesday, Jan. 8 that his granddaughter Naomi, 31, has welcomed her first baby with husband Peter Neal in a Los Angeles press conference about the continuing California fires.

“The good news is I’m a great-grandfather as of today,” President Biden said according to a White House pool report. Ahead of the press conference, President Biden stopped by Cedars Sinai Hospital and spent around 40 minutes meeting his new great-grandbaby.

The new addition marks President Biden becoming a great-grandfather for the first time. Speaking about the milestone in a recent interview with USA Today at the White House, Biden remarked, “I’m about to be a great-grandfather, Jesus God.”
